Michelle Albano of Michelle’s Pies has brought her award-winning, flakey crusted confections to Westport. And Suzy says it’s about time. What started as a kitchen-based hobby has turned into a gastronomic phenomenon, complete with a throwdown with Bobby Flay. Last week, Michelle opened the doors to her second location at 180 Post Road East, so now, galpals, you don’t have to drive all the way to Norwalk to get your Michelle’s fix.
In addition to her famous and fantastic pies, Michelle’s in Westport also serves espresso, cappuccino and a wide selection of gourmet teas. It’s the perfect spot to meet a friend for a mid-morning chat, or for a pit stop during your work day since the Westport Michelle’s has Wi-Fi.
