The Organic Market

One of Suzy’s favorite local spots for a quick, healthy lunch is the Organic Market. They’ve been in business for well more than 15 years, but there’s nothing stale about their fare. The fresh menu selections are refreshingly simple—and totally delish! Most weekdays will find the lunch counter and few café tables buzzing with satisfied patrons. Suzy dropped in recently for a hummus and veggie sandwich and some tabouleh. Suzy’s pretty picky when it comes to tabouleh, and the Organic Market’s is as good as any she’s ever had stateside.

But the Organic Market has much more than sprouts to offer. Homemade soups and salads, organic fruit and veggie juices—including freshly squeezed watermelon juice that tastes like summer in a cup—and a hot food bar with some of the best kabobs in town are just some of what they’re serving up at this local gem. And if you can’t find a spot inside to sit and chat with your galpal, grab a seat at one of the tables out front. They’ll also pack up your food to go, if you’re looking for a healthy lunch to take to the beach. While you’re checking out, grab a Dagoba dark chocolate bar. Suzy likes the one with lavender. You can thank her later.
