Looking for some dynamite casual dining on a great outdoor terrace? Viva Zapata fits the bill nicely, and is located just a block away from the Westport train station. Their spacious outdoor terrace is now officially open for the season. Funky enough for a New York crowd but laid back enough for Westporters; the atmosphere at Viva Zapata is convivial and fun. The portions are more than generous—and this includes their dynamite margaritas, made with freshly squeezed lime juice and served in Ball jars—aye mama! From the fresh fish tacos to the Mexican mixed grill fajitas, Viva Zapata does not disappoint. The spinach quesadilla is terrific, too, as are the homemade salsa and guacamole. Don't forget to bring the kids! If they're 6 or younger, Viva Zapata will serve them a delicious enchilada or taco for free. (One per adult entrée.) Suzy says, viva Viva Zapata!
