Suzy was in Manhattan on a hot spring day last week and couldn't believe the number of "Maxi" dresses she saw on the street.
Maxi Dress? That's the new fashion buzz word for "long dress" ... a casual, flowing one you wear in the summer rather than the one you wore to prom. It's a little Bohemian and a lot feminine.
We love the trend. You feel pretty, you can feel PMS-y and nobody knows it. Suzy stocked up on "Maxi Dresses" earlier this spring when Old Navy of all places was showing the "town gown" in its April collections.
You can still find some "tube" dresses at Old Navy at spectacular prices ($29.50).
