Sites We Love
A Sprig for All Seasons

Green this... or so says the new eco-friendly shopping site launched this year by the Washington Post Company.
www.Sprig.com aims to provide readers with "resources for shopping with a conscience but it is the first time that the resources are so plentiful, stylish, and for all areas of life."
Sprig divides its consumer goods into categories like "organic, recycled, sustainable, fair labor, waste-ready..."
It almost makes you feel all warm and fuzzy when you check out.

Suzy's obnoxious favorite: "Ting Sling" -- described as "handmade from vintage, salvaged, and remnant materials. The sling is made of woven end-of-the-line seatbelt remnants from various suppliers; the hardware is recyclable steel. The company's travel is carbon offset through growaforest.com." Price tag? $560.
In all seriousness, if you are serious about greening your buying habits, Sprig has something for everyone with a guilty conscience.
